Chronos: SOHO Organizer and Notes v7.0

Chronos LC today unveiled SOHO Organizer 7 and SOHO Notes 7, updates to some of the company's business productivity applications, introducing a number of new features. SOHO Organizer 7, Chronos' alternative to iCal and Address Book, now can display recurring tasks, and allows tasks to show up directly in Day, Week, and Month views. Chronos is selling SOHO Organizer 7 starting at $50, with several different licensing options available.

SOHO Organizer's Alphabet Bar allows users to filter and easily find contacts alphabetically, while the Date Bar provides users with a calendar view to make it easier to jump back and forth in time. Users can also print aesthetically pleasing Day, Week, and Year Calendars, and overall application appearance and behaviour is enhanced.

SOHO Notes 7 now allows users to provide an unlimited number of task attachments for their notes, and can sync with iCal in this regard. Embedded tasks are also new, and can likewise be synchronized with iCal. A new Details sidebar provides at-a-glance information on several note attributes, while the Comments field gives users a place to enter personal thoughts or notes. Chronos has also improved printing features, as well as note and contact attachments.

Maybe MacNN should not file stories at 1 AM if there is a chance they'll misspell a company's name in the headline? :p

It's been less than a year and they want more money and haven't fixed problems with their existing versions. I've been very unhappy with their lack of response in fixing problems and their frequent charged upgrades.

I wish another Notes organizer would let me paste notes from a contextual menu, and put a spotlight-style search functionality in a menu extra. The product to do that will get my money.
